This class will focus on the chronological study of world history (excluding the United States) from the beginning of time on record, to the Age of Exploration.  Along with the focus on history, the class will also stress the importance of recognizing and understanding the social sciences. Thus political, geographic, economic and social trends will be tied into understanding the history. Global Studies 9 is a course that prepares you for future studies in your Sophomore year of class.
